
Jazmine Marie Jazmine Marie Sullivan (born on April 9, 1987) is an American R&B and soul-singing artist. She was born and raised in Philadelphia the album she released her debut, Fearless was released in 2008. The album was a top contender for the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. It spawned four singles, including "Need You Bad" and "Bust Your Window" and both placed in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart; The latter was Sullivan's debut and the sole number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song Billboard chart. It was Sullivan's sophomore album Love Me Back in 2010, followed. It was a hit by critics. After a hiatus of 3 years, Sullivan signed with RCA Records and dropped her debut studio album under their label Reality Show, in 2015. It was her first album to peak at number one on the Top R&B Albums chart. In 2021she dropped the critically-acclaimed EP Heaux Tales which has the track "Pick Up Your emotions". Sullivan has been awarded Two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award and three NAACP Image Awards. Time named her one of their 100 most influential people in 2022.
