Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the US. Sheedy made her debut as an actress in Bad Boys in 1983. Following that, she was a member of the Brat pack, and was a part of WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award in Best Female Role for her work in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. Sheedy was married David Lansbury on April 12, 1992. David Lansbury was the son of Edgar Lansbury who produced Godspell as well as the son of Angela Lansbury. Beckett (born in 1994) is the child of the couple. Sheedy claimed that she learned a great deal from Beckett. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy, born on June 13, 1962, in New York City, is an American film and stage actor. She has also written two books. Her most well-known work is her role in the Brat Pack films The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club by John Hughes: Why? The name "The Breakfast Club", which is the title of this film, comes from an acronym some schools utilize for detention. They are expected to arrive in detention around the time breakfast is served. They are the Next Generation. Her resume has now included "teacher". Sheedy is a professor of acting classes in New York City at City College.
